"Good gravy!" at D's Main Gate

UPDATE: The Main Gate has since changed ownership numerous times.

The Italian grinder at D's Main Gate at the corner of E. 30th and Grand, across from the Iowa State Fairgrounds, lacks not of lightly seasoned Italian sausage or melted shredded cheese, but what really floats my boat is the biscuits and gravy pictured below. Plentiful sausage gravy with a nice peppery kick. A simple, filling breakfast. Good stuff.
