Boozing, Home and About

Left: MST3K Turkey Day marathon and boozy Evan Williams egg nog. A big slug in hot coffee is divine. The marathon though was iffy with various social media feeds crapping out at times. Right: Found George Dickel No. 8 at the Pleasant Hill Hy-Vee for five bucks off. A delight to sip!

Left: Finally opened a crowler of Sierra Nevada coffee stout at several weeks sitting in the fridge. Pours black and thick. Exceptionally good! Right: Firetrucker Brewery's Acova black walnut ale in cans! I found this beauty at The Basement Bar. 6.8% ABV, 29 IBU, 100% delicious!

“Mother’s milk” goes down all too easy at Annie's Irish Pub, left. And $4.50 a pint is a good price for a pint of Guinness, plus plenty of buck-off specials. Harp also on tap. Right: Splendid lacing on this pint of Confluence Brewing's DSM IPA, enjoyed the previous night at Akebono. Now that’s good head!
