Black Cat Ice Cream serves amazing handcrafted small batch artisanal ice cream made with grass-fed dairy and ingredients sourced from local producers. Flavors change weekly, and oh, they do not disappoint! Black Cat operates from a nondescript window just north of the corner entrance to The Gas Lamp at 15th and Grand Ave. Typically open Tuesday through Saturday from 1 to 6 pm, but can be open earlier and later during warmer months.

Coffee, Caramel & Donuts, left, is true to its name with cake donut pieces peppered about, and surprisingly the crumb within was still intact! Right, Red Velvet Oreo offers up a sensory delight with broken-up red velvet Oreo cookies entrapped in a sensuously smooth red velvet flavored ice cream. Many pieces still kept their crunch.
