Random sips: Ecco Domani, Maker's Mark, Guinness, Hessen Haus

Finally cracking into the half-dozen reds from 2005-2006 that I tucked away after losing my Italian dinner crew to enjoy wine with. First up, an Ecco Domani 2005 Merlot. Bright, luscious raisin with deep tones of leather.

Left, I’ve ogled this over-dipped bottle of Maker's Mark for awhile, and the folks at The Walnut made sure I got it. w00t! Guinness and a salty snack, center, at Annie's Irish Pub. Right, The view from the ‘boot’ at Hessen Haus. A patron gifted me hearly half the remains of their boot of Celebrator, but darn that ‘glug’ sound is disconcerting.
