Recent Bites: Jim's Coney Island, Waveland Cafe

A classic coney dog basket at Jim's Coney Island on S.W. 9th in Des Moines, featuring a Coney (chili) dog with mustard, chopped onion, and pickle, plus sides of onion rings, crinkle-cut fries, and creamy cole slaw.

A post-fasting feast at the Waveland Cafe. Everything Hashbrowns with ham, green bell pepper, hot pepper, onion, tomato, mushroom, and cheese, plus a trio of eggs over easy. Topped off with Rickey's Louisiana-style hot sauce and washed down with 'bottomless' coffee. I killed the creamers along with everything else.
