Breakfast at Lou Mitchell's in Chicago


A honest-to-goodness big-city diner with good food and courteous service. I hit the coffee hard and heavy. Breakfast was a dream. Fluffy three-egg omelet with diced tomato, green bell pepper, onion and slices of Greek-spiced link sausage. Served with sliced potatoes, choice of toast, orange wedge with prunes, and a kick-ass orange marmalade. Spread on dark rye it makes for a great taste combination.
