Pink's Three Dog Night: A lot of hot dog, cheese, bacon, etc. to take in.

Pink's Hot Dogs, a Los Angeles favorite, had recently opened up a Las Vegas location in the Planet Hollywood Casino on The Strip.

Situated in a little cubby hole in front of the casino, you go inside, order up and take your meal outside to a patio with umbrella seating. Going for broke I ordered up a Three Dog Night with three hot dogs, three slices of cheese, three slices of bacon, chili and onion, all wrapped in a flour tortilla.

Consuming this feast out in the heat of the day was unexpected. If this were July, I would have sought out an indoor food court inside the adjacent mall.

Everything tasted fine. The chili was good, but to do it justice it would be best to order a plain chili dog or a bowlful. The wieners had a definite pop when bitten into. Overall a belly buster indeed.

It would be worth a return visit to sample the chili on its own, maybe even a Polish.
