Recent eats: Akebono, Capes Kafé, La Mie Bakery.

Asparagus at Akebono: Bacon-wrapped Asparagus; and Apara Niku Maki with rib eye-wrapped asparagus, glazed in soy mirin. Tidy appetizers for body and spirit.

Drinks at Capes Kafé: A refreshing Machete horchata latte that's lightly sweet, pleasantly spiced, and dairy free; and the Snake Mountain, a double espresso over chocolate ice cream, for when Skeletor needs to unwind.
