Dining and Libations at Denver's Union Station

Denver's Union Station from the street side.

Left: Breakfast Pot Pie at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery. Rosemary sausage gravy, studded with carrots, atop a flaky puff pastry, topped with an egg any style, plus a hash brown patty. Inventive, tasty! The remains of this 5.3% ABV pilsner from River North Brewing, right, was fine for slow sipping. I quaffed several pints!

Left: When you've got time to kill before the train, Denver's Union Station is a comfortable place to rest, relax, and enjoy a brew from Terminal Bar. Pretty much the most relaxed I and my travel mate were for the whole trip. Right: The Terminal Wedge Salad is a masterful take on a classic! Baby iceberg lettuce, candied bacon, cherry tomato, red onion, smoked peppercorn blue cheese dressing, and barrel-aged hot sauce. Every ingredient pops! A bargain during happy hour for six bucks.
