Fair-weather visits to Firetrucker Brewery

Left, Cocoa-raspberry Burnout Brown, a recent Friday cask at Firetrucker Brewery. “…a foamy sumbitch” with a pleasant berry aroma and flavor. Deep cocoa adds depth. 5.3% ABV, 32 IBU. Bright, tart, and oh so refreshing this amazing Copper Cat ginger-lime beer, right. Fans of dry cider and 515 Brewing’s Lil’ Tart take note. 6.5% ABV, 0 IBU.

Left, The Devil – a Belgian blonde ale is a smooth drinking beer, perfectly suited for summer consumption. 6.66% ABV, 41 IBU. Spice Cake Devil, is a cask expression rich in oatmeal creme pie flavors, right down to a marshmallow finish. Center, a strawberry-mojito Copper Cat beer cocktail. You’d think strawberry, mint, lime and ginger would be a confused mess, but here its not. Its quite balanced and very refreshing! Built upon the popular Copper Cat ginger-lime beer. Right, the Spice Cake Devil won the round of a flight enjoyed to garner a proper pour. Marshmallow really stands out, softening spice flavors into an exceptionally good beer.
