Three-egg
chorizo omelet with home fries at Lili’s Restaurant & Bar
in Reno. The omelet featured a spicy, coarse-ground chorizo
flavored with a touch of cinnamon, bell pepper, onion, and
tomato, with cheddar and jack cheeses. Home fries were superb –
cooked to baked potato tenderness – with bell pepper and onion.

‘big’ citrusy, zesty Bloody Mary garnished with
bacon, celery, and lemon. Right, buttermilk biscuits were first
rate; I should have ordered a side of gravy to taste.
